| Der Sommer steht vor der Tür – und damit ist es wieder Zeit für das Stadtteilfest in Reininghaus! Alles sind herzlich eingeladen. Am Freitag den 3. Juli 2026 gibt es Musik, Kulinarik, Flohmarkt, Spiele, Stadtteil- & Baustellenführungen sowie ein buntes Programm zumMitmachen von früh bis spät! Auch heuer findet wieder ein Flohmarkt bei den Häusern Reininghauspark 9–11 statt. Wer gerne mitmachen möchte, kann sich unter reininghausgruende@stadt.graz.at anmelden. Tische werden zur Verfügung gestellt. Der Kochklub lädt zur ersten „großen internationalen Tafel“im Reininghauspark – Mitmachen erwünscht!Der Kochklub Reininghaus lädt ein verschiedenste Speisen ausaller Welt zu probieren. Besucher:innen können an der großenTafel Platz nehmen und auch gerne selbst ihr Lieblingsessenmitbringen um es mit Nachbar:innen und Freund:innen zuteilen. Kochen – Essen – Teilen! Extra für das Stadtteilfest wird beim Spar in Reininghaus die Kaffeemaschine freigeschalten und jede und jeder kann sich dort einen gratis Kaffe oder Kakao holen.

Am Vorplatz vor den Häusern Reininghauspark 9 und 11 findet wieder der Nachbarschaftsflohmarkt statt. Wer sich also von schönen, alten Dingen trennen will, kann sich gerne bei uns unter reininghausgruende@stadt.graz.at anmelden und bekommt einen Tisch von uns zur Verfügung gestellt. Die Teilnahme am Flohmarkt ist kostenlos. Alles, was nicht verkauft wird muss selbst wieder mitgenommen werden. Kommt vorbei und stöbert ein bisschen.

☞9:30 – 10:00: Flashmob-Konzert des Superar Kinderchores:

Der Kinderchor von Superar eröffnet heuer feierlich das Stadtteilfest und den Flohmarkt. Die 200 Kinder der drei Superar-Volksschulchöre Ferdinandeum, Triester und Karl Morre sorgen für gute Stimmung und läuten den Tag musikalisch ein.

LebensGroß bietet ab 10:00 im Garten der Werkstätte Sport und Bewegung, wie Federball, Fußball, Wasserbombenschlacht, Tischtennis, Schwingtuch, Zeichnen und Malen, Gestalten von Perlenarmbändern uvm. an. Bei Schlechtwetter finden die Angebote direkt in unseren Werkstätte bzw. im Gemeinschaftsraum statt. Zusätzlich gibt es Kuchen, Kaffe und Eis.

Die Ergebnisse der Forschungsgruppe Reininghaus werden in Form einer Ausstellung in der Tennenmälzerei präsentiert. Die Ausstellung ist für alle beim Stadtteilfest offen zugänglich.

☞ 13:00 – 22:00: Ausstellung: Ökologisches Ausprobieren:
📍Mirror, EG, Reininghauspark 2a
Ohne das Experiment keine Weiterentwicklung. Gemeinsam mit Künstler:innen und Jugendlichen hat sich die Steirische Kulturinitiative unter der tatkräftigen Unterstützung des Instituts für Architektur und Medien der TU Graz aufgemacht, um Auszuprobieren: Mit Alginaten und Ton. Innerhalb der Ausstellung finden sich nicht nur Ergebnisse eines mehrtägigen Workshops der beteiligten Künstler:innen, sondern auch die Ergebnisse eines Workshops mit den Jugendlichen der AHS Reininghaus. Auch selbst kann man Teil der Ausstellung werden und bei Workshops mitmachen. Einfach Tun! Nachhaltige Materialien wollen entdeckt werden.

📍Beim Spielplatz am Reininghauspark
Das Team der Kunst- und Kulturvermittlung des Archäologiemuseums (Universalmuseum Joanneum) freut sich mit euch in die spannende Welt der Antike einzutauchen, z. B. was uns die Bilder auf Münzen verraten können! Ihr könnt auch selbst ausprobieren und in die Rolle von Römer*innen schlüpfen. Ein Workshop für Kinder und ihre Familien.

Seit Frühjahr 2026 trifft sich der Kochklub regelmäßig zum gemeinsamen Kochen und sorgt für kulinarische Köstlichkeiten beim Stadtteilfest. Kommt zum großen Tisch und lasst uns gemeinsam essen. Jeder darf selber auch gerne etwas mitbringen.

„shifting common grounds“ ist ein Audiowalk durch den Stadtteil Reininghaus über das Zusammenleben in Städten und das Hinterfragen von „besseren Welten“. Grundlage dafür ist ein Co-Creation-Prozess mit Schüler:innen der VS und AHS Reininghaus, die in Workshops zum Thema Stadt und Zusammenleben geforscht haben. Für Kinder und Erwachsene ab 7 Jahren.

Especially for the neighborhood festival, the coffee machine at the Spar in Reininghaus will be turned on, and everyone can stop by to get a free cup of coffee or hot chocolate.

The neighborhood flea market will once again take place on the plaza in front of Reininghauspark 9 and 11. So if you’d like to part with some beautiful, vintage items, feel free to sign up with us at reininghausgruende@stadt.graz.at, and we’ll provide you with a table. Participation in the flea market is free. Anything that doesn’t sell must be taken back home with you. Come by and browse around a bit.

Activities for anyone interested in Europe, especially children and teens, featuring an exciting quiz about the European Union, Europe, and Europe’s diversity, along with giveaways and plenty of materials and brochures to take home.
☞9:30–10:00: Flash mob concert by the Superar Children’s Choir:

This year, the Superar Children’s Choir will officially kick off the neighborhood festival and the flea market. The 200 children from the three Superar elementary school choirs—Ferdinandeum, Triester, and Karl Morre—will create a festive atmosphere and musically ring in the day.
☞10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.: Games, fun, and physical activity at LebensGroß:

Starting at 10:00 a.m., LebensGroß will be offering sports and physical activities in the workshop garden, including badminton, soccer, water balloon fights, table tennis, swing cloth, drawing and painting, making beaded bracelets, and much more. In case of bad weather, these activities will take place directly in our workshop or in the common room. There will also be cake, coffee, and ice cream.

Without experimentation, there can be no progress. Together with artists and young people, the Styrian Cultural Initiative—with the active support of the Institute for Architecture and Media at Graz University of Technology—has set out to experiment: With alginates and clay. The exhibition features not only the results of a multi-day workshop led by the participating artists but also the outcomes of a workshop with students from AHS Reininghaus. You, too, can become part of the exhibition and take part in workshops. Just do it! Sustainable materials are waiting to be discovered.

The Art and Culture Education team at the Archaeology Museum (Universalmuseum Joanneum) looks forward to immersing you in the exciting world of antiquity—for example, discovering what the images on coins can tell us! “shifting common grounds” is an audio walk through the Reininghaus neighborhood that explores coexistence in cities and questions the idea of “better worlds.” It is based on a co-creation process with students from the Reininghaus Elementary and High Schools, who conducted research on the topics of the city and coexistence in workshops. For children and adults ages 7 and up.
